Hannes Nehls is a designer and creator of interactive artefacts – from subtle adaptive objects to large-scale kinetic installations. Currently he researches on low-threshold and sensor-driven collaborative services, that require little engagement of the individual, but aim to stimulate the efficiency of micro-communities in pursuing common objectives.

He is lecturing Design within the Interaction Design Program at the University of Applied Science in Osnabrueck.
