WORKSHOP 12th - 13th April, 10AM - 3PM Daily
Walk That Sound: Alpha Beta Charlie Dorcol
ABCD was conceived as a participative sound performance and done in Berlin, Braga, Hailuoto, Athens and Bern, and it will be staged as an intensive workshop with local students for the first time at Resonate.
While these performances were mostly taking part during music and sound art festivals, with a spontaneous participation of the audience, this particular workshop will give the students detailed introduction into the history and the specificity of two-way and cardinal radio communication offered by walkie-talkie devices. The focus of the workshop is a common creation of a radio form which relies on both spontaneous and mutually conceived, sound and linguistic narrative – at, and around Kalemegdan fortress.
